Job Summary

As a Communications Associate at EDA, you will be responsible for developing strategies and creating content for our internal and external communications channels. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer with an eye for design, skilled at working collaboratively across teams to meet communication needs. This is a dynamic role suited for someone who enjoys contributing to employee engagement and external brand visibility through strategic, innovative, and impactful communication.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute communication strategies for both internal and external audiences.
Create and curate engaging content for various platforms, including the company intranet, internal newsletters, SMS blasts, external website, blog, and external newsletters.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand their communication needs and support the creation of content that aligns with their goals and initiatives.
Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels.
Assist in coordinating and executing communication campaigns to enhance employee engagement and external visibility.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and content to identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure innovative and effective communication solutions.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
1-3 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Understanding of media relations and digital communication strategies.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and work independently.
Proficient in using social media platforms, content managements systems, and analytic tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in graphic design, multimedia design, and video production preferred.
Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Shopify, Eventbrite, and Staffbase a plus.
