Stuart Weitzman Plaza
EDA was awarded the waterproofing at UPENN Stuart Weitzman Plaza. The existing ramp had to be demolished and replaced with concrete. EDA then had to apply Bituthene waterproofing membrane to keep the classrooms below watertight.
This project includes 19,000 sf of EDA fabricated aluminum composite wall panels, 9,500 sf of custom perforated plate panels and 22,500 sf of Centria Single skin wall and equipment screen panels.
St Barnabas Medical Center
Project consisted of the new façade on the west wing. Expansion which became the main entry for the hospital as well as a new parking garage.
EDA was able to add the 40,000 sf. of air & vapor barrier to its scope of Prodema wall panels, column covers and custom ACM panels which provided the owner with the proprietary Envelope Warranty of 10 years covering all workmanship, labor, and material.
After a thorough investigation of the area, EDA found the that the leak was coming from the adjacent north wall. EDA had to remove the existing roof down to the decking and replace the insulation and Carlisle TPO membrane per the manufacturer’s specifications.
NYU Rogers Hall
EDA installed a 7” thick fire rated wall assembly on an 80’ tall mechanical and stair addition. This was a challenging project due to very limited access and the lack of lay down space.
