Jason Merlo
Athletic Director of Project Management
Jason Merlo joined the EDA team in August of 2018 as Project Manager. Since then, Jason has ascended to the position of Director of Project Management, overseeing EDA's Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers in the NY/NJ region. Jason brings ten years of experience in the project management field, having held roles as assistant project manager, project manager, and quality control manager in a wide array of specializations.
Jason recieved a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Studies with a concentration in Construction Management from Philadelphia University, now known as Thomas Jefferson University.
Outside of professional pursuits, Jason is a professional armwrestler around the 200lb category, pursuing the sport at its highest levels since he first started in 2015. He currently holds top-ten rankings in both the right and left-handed categories in North America within his weight class. Jason is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys bike riding and being around water. Fising is one of his long-time passions that he now shares with his daughter. Jason loves animals and has two dogs that were rescued from Georgia and Missouri.
