Evette Gross
Audacious Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Evette Gross currently serves as an EDA Administrative Assistant and is the On-Call Receptionist who provides a positive impression to customers, clients, and employees. Prior to EDA, Evette worked for the Philadelphia Housing Authority for over 25 years in various roles and was Vice President of PHA's local union, before retiring in 2008. After retiring, she worked for the School District of Philadelphia as a School Police Officer and later as an assistant Facilitator/Trainer responsible for updating Police Directives.
Evette received a Bachelor's and an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Pierce College.
Evette has many interests outside of work. She is a strong believer in holistic health practices and remedies. She loves cooking, volunteering at church, mentoring the youth, and setting up various events at church and at family functions. Evette also enjoys traveling abroad and learning about different cultures' food, lifestyles, and government affiliation.
What is one thing not many people know about you?
I was the Vice President of Local 933 for several years while working at the Philadelphia Housing Authority.

If you weren’t in the construction industry, where would you be today?
I would be a volunteer at my church, mentoring youth, and setting up various events.
