EDA’s 4th Annual PACT Wellness Fair Brings Connection, Awareness, and Hope

EDA’s 4th Annual PACT Wellness Fair brought employees and partners together for an afternoon focused on wellness, awareness, and community.

What began as a small internal initiative to support employees facing substance use challenges has evolved into a cornerstone of EDA’s culture. The EDA PACT Program (Personal Accountability Changes Today) provides a framework for compassion, understanding, and recovery with a goal of ensuring that those who are struggling never have to face it alone.

This year’s event featured a lineup of health and wellness vendors, food trucks, and EDA Cares partners who continue to stand alongside us in this mission. Attendees enjoyed great food, live demonstrations, raffles, and giveaways, but most importantly, they experienced a sense of connection and camaraderie that defines what it means to be part of EDA.

Throughout the afternoon, guest speakers shared powerful stories about their own journeys with addiction and recovery. Their honesty reminded everyone in attendance that substance use disorder is a disease—not a choice—and that breaking the stigma begins with open, empathetic conversations.

The event served as a safe space to learn, listen, and reflect, while also celebrating the resilience of those who continue to fight for recovery each day.

As our PACT initiative grows, so does our commitment to fostering a workplace where mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing are treated with the same importance as physical safety and craftsmanship. Together, we’re building an environment rooted in trust, support, and humanity—because at EDA, we believe we are truly Successful Together.
