What did you do before your time at EDA?
Before joining EDA, I worked at my sister’s daycare.
What brought you to the construction industry?
A good friend of mine, Steve Zinelli, told me about the job opportunity. I thought about it for a while and decided to give it a shot.
What are some things that most people don't know about you?
There are many things about me that most people here at EDA don't know: I have five sisters and no brothers, I'm currently in school to get my bachelor's degree in Information Technology, I love spending time with my family, and I like to travel.
If you weren’t in the construction industry, where would you be today?
If I wasn’t in the construction industry, I probably would be doing something in the IT industry.
If you could work in any other trade or department here at EDA, where would you be?
If I could work in any other department here at EDA, I would choose the IT department.
What is the biggest challenge you've faced in work? How did you overcome it?
When I started at EDA, my biggest challenge was socializing. I can be very shy at first and tend to keep to myself. Once I got used to the environment and noticed how friendly everybody was, I felt more comfortable.
What has been the best part about your experience working with EDA?
My favorite part about working at EDA is the relationships and friendships you can build. Everyone here at EDA is so nice and friendly. Luckily, being a driver and visiting all different job sites, I can meet new people daily.
What is your favorite EDA value, and why?
My favorite EDA value is Strive to Improve. Every day is an opportunity to get 1% better every day with just the smallest of changes that will lead to big results.
