#Duckumentary - Kyle Kratzer

Today we speak with Carpenter Foreman, Kyle Kratzer!

What did you do before your time at EDA?

Before coming to EDA, I worked as a foreman for a company in the Lehigh Valley.

What brought you to the construction industry?

You could say being a carpenter runs in the family. I am a fourth-generation union carpenter.

What was your reaction to seeing EDA’s emphasis on culture?

It was refreshing to see EDA’s emphasis on culture. I’ve never worked for a company before that takes the time to not only build a relationship with you, but to also aid you in building a relationship with the people you work with.

How is EDA's culture compared to that of your previous workplace?

I was with a company for twenty years and culture wasn’t even on their radar. There’s no comparison to them and what EDA is doing.

What has been the best part about your experience working with EDA?

The best part about working at EDA is the people. From the people in the shop, the office, and the people I work with every day in the field.

What is your favorite EDA value, and why?

I’d say Work Proud is my favorite EDA value. I work every day with people who put a lot of energy in to giving our customers a quality finished product. They take pride in their work, and it shows.
