#Duckumentary - Jennifer Isopi

Today we speak with Project Manager - Service Division, Jennifer Isopi!

What’s your favorite thing about working with your team/department?

One of the best parts of working with my team is the way we all come together to solve customer challenges. It’s the shared dedication and mutual support that I cherish most about our team dynamic.

Outside of work, what are your favorite activities or hobbies?

I’m a proud mom to an amazing little boy who means the world to me. I like spending time with my family and friends, and when I find a moment to myself, I enjoy crafting and decorating.

What’s the best piece of advice you have been given relating to your job/career?

One of the best pieces of advice I received is to focus on the bigger picture and not get bogged down by the small details. However, it's important to celebrate those little victories, because they help you build up to bigger successes.

What’s one thing you never leave home without?

I never leave home without my phone—my whole life is basically on there!

What do you do here at EDA?

As the Project Manager in the Service Department, I’ve got a lot of different roles to juggle. My days are filled with everything from managing projects and estimating to organizing the team’s schedule and handing billing. I am also the first point of contact for urgent leaks or small repairs. It’s a job that keeps me on my toes, and I love that every day is something different!

Cats or dogs? Why?

I’m all about dogs! They’ve always had a special place in my heart with their energy and personality.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Being on a team where we share the success of a project. Seeing the final result come together and realizing that all the effort and planning have truly paid off is incredibly rewarding.

If you were planning your favorite meal, what’s on the menu?

This is a tough one because I could probably eat pasta every day forever. But if I had to pick, I'd go with filet mignon (medium), a Caesar salad, a loaded baked potato, and either steamed broccoli or asparagus.

How do you stay updated on industry trends and advancements, and are there any recent developments that have caught your attention?

I continually learn from our manufacturer representatives as well as our foreman, project managers, and superintendents.

What's your proudest accomplishment, either in your professional or personal life?

Personally, I am a mother, and my son is my greatest source of motivation. He is the reason I wake up every day with purpose and drive. In my professional career, my proudest moment was when I took a bold step that led to immense personal and professional growth. I didn’t let fear hold me back and embraced the challenge of transforming the Service Department at EDA into a thriving team. Through setting clear goals, streamlining processes, and fostering a strong, collaborative environment, we achieved remarkable success.
