#Duckumentary - Dean Fritchey

Today we speak with Panel Shop Assistant, Dean Fritchey!

What did you do before your time at EDA?

Before I joined EDA, I worked in General Construction.

What brought you to the construction industry?

I started in construction at 15 years old to make some money, and I just never stopped.

Can you briefly explain what you do at EDA?

I supervise in the fabrication shop, and I fabricate ACM/plate panels.

What are some things that most people don't know about you?

One thing that most people don’t know about me is that I’m actually a really nice guy! I also served in the military.

If you weren’t in the construction industry, where would you be today?

I’m honestly not too sure. Construction is all I’ve really done.

If you could work in any other trade or department here at EDA, where would you be?

I’m not sure I would work in any other trade or department. I’m content with where I’m at right now.

What is the biggest challenge you've faced in work?

The biggest challenges always come from working on multiple jobs at once that have the same deadline.

What has been the best part about your experience working with EDA?

The best part about working for EDA is the people, the other employees here.

What is your favorite EDA value, and why?

My favorite value is Smile, Laugh, Enjoy Life. I believe when you’re happy and enjoy coming to work, that will make all the other values that much easier to achieve.
