We asked Byron about his journey to EDA, and what his thoughts are on EDA's culture.
What did you do before your time at EDA?
Before I was with EDA, I was actually working as an auto mechanic in New York.
What brought you to the construction industry?
My wife’s best friend’s husband was a roofer, and he brought me in and helped me out when I moved to Pennsylvania from New York.
What was your reaction to seeing EDA’s emphasis on culture?
When a company emphasizes culture like this, it shows that they care.
How is EDA's culture compared to that of your previous workplaces?
My last workplace never had a culture, EDA was a first for me.
What has been the best part about your experience working with EDA?
Every day you learn something new! EDA encourages each and every one of us to not get stuck in one spot, and to reach for the sky.
What is your favorite EDA value, and why?
Demonstrate humility! In this construction world, you must lead by example. Sometimes it’s hard but being humble will make the work a lot better in the end.
