Job Summary
This is an on-site position in Bensalem, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee separation, payroll and benefits support, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resources needs.
As generalist, this role is responsible for the daily HR operations of the organization including aspects of compliance, operations, HR systems and data management, and labor and employee relations. The HR Generalist functions as the primary interface between HR and operational departments/offices of the organization. As a member of the Human Resources function, the HR Generalist will build strong, partnering relationships with leadership while balancing employee advocacy.
Job Responsibilities
- Actively participate and be the first line contact for all site HR, benefit, and wellness activities (such as new hire eligibility, open enrollment, life events, and general questions)
- Collaborate with local leadership to ensure HR is taking a proactive approach and fostering strong, trustworthy relationships with leadership and employees
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage employee payroll related changes and work with finance team to ensure all changes are accurately reflected each payroll.
- Provide HR reports from HRIS and other systems to make data driven decisions.
- Manage and track compliance of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA, employee sponsorship programs and other employment laws.
- Work closely with legal and third-party vendor to support employees on immigration status as necessary
- Manage, track and document all employee leave requests.
- Assist in employee recruitment processes across all departments, which includes creating job descriptions, posting job ads, processing background checks, reviewing applications, draft and present job offers.
- Create, distribute, and manage internal communications regarding company policies and updates.
- Conduct new employee orientation and oversee new employee arrivals.
- Address and research employee concerns or issues in partnership with employees and management.
- Administer and maintain a filing system for all employee documentation to ensure compliance.
- Assists with developing new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department.
- Research and maintain files for any updates to federal, state and local employment, benefit laws and regulations.
- Promotes HR programs to create an efficient, caring, and conflict-free workplace.
- Assists with benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
- Assists in development, improvement and implementation of human resource policies.
- Maintains employee files and I-9 compliance information
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of MS Office

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or related roles.
- Experience in benefits administration and payroll preferred
