As we close the chapter on 2024, I want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey the EDA team has shared. This year has been one of incredible growth, collaboration, and achievement, made possible by the dedication and talent of each member of the EDA team. Together, we've not only met challenges head-on but have also exceeded expectations, setting new benchmarks for excellence.
In the spirit of celebrating 2024 and looking forward to the opportunities of a New Year, here are a few EDA milestones we've reached:
- Honoring Heroic Gardens: Five Ponds Golf Course was the place to be on October 12, 2024, as more than 100 of our employees, sponsors, and guests gathered for an unforgettable day of camaraderie, competition, and sunshine. This year's golf outing helped raise over $23,000 for Heroic Gardens. Heroic Gardens is one of many charities supported by our EDA Cares initiative. This year, we have donated over $65,000 and 300 volunteer hours to support charities in our local community.
- Welcoming Glazing Concepts: EDA purchased and acquired substantially all business assets and property of Glazing Concepts, effective October 24, 2024. EDA will add Glazing Concepts’ expertise in architectural glass and metal solutions for commercial, institutional and public construction projects to EDA’s extensive line-up of exterior building envelope capabilities throughout the region.
- Celebrating our 25th Anniversary: Since 1999, we’ve expanded our capabilities, embraced progress, and forged lasting partnerships, all while staying true to the values that built our foundation. This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our EDA community. Here’s to the next 25 years!
- Establishing Our In-House Engineering Team: With the addition of our engineering team, we have streamlined processes, resulting in a more efficient and seamless experience for our clients. This team has been instrumental in strengthening our competitive edge in the industry.
- Third Annual PACT Wellness Event: EDA’s third annual EDA PACT (Personal Accountability Changes Today) Wellness Fair welcomed more than 150 EDA employees for an event of awareness, sensitivity, resources, and support all in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.
- Top Workplaces 2024: National and Regional Honors: EDA was recognized as a Top Workplaces USA 2024 recipient, in addition to earning Top Workplaces honors from both The Philadelphia Inquirer and NJ.com. These prestigious awards highlight EDA’s commitment to fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture, with recognition driven by our greatest asset—our incredible EDA team.
