This holiday season, the EDA team had the privilege of visiting Turning Points For Children to assist with wrapping and delivering gifts for youth in our community. Supporting meaningful causes and making a positive impact beyond construction is at the heart of EDA’s commitment to giving back.
Turning Points for Children is a Philadelphia-based organization dedicated to building stronger families and brighter futures. Guided by the principles of wellness, safety, diversity, and collaboration, they provide holistic, client-centered social and health services to vulnerable individuals. Turning Points impacts the lives of over 7,000 clients through its programs, including foster care, food assistance, and life skills for young adults. In 2023 alone, the organization helped 179 families with permanency and pre-adoption services, served 500 families monthly through their FAWN food bank system, found 677 loving homes for foster children, and supported 182 young adults with vital life skills services.
Everyone deserves to be given a gift this time of year, and we are proud to continue to make that a reality for those in our local community. Thank you to all of our EDA volunteers who made this event possible.
