#Duckumentary - Miriam Alan Walls

The EDA Family is full of inspiring individuals. For this week’s #Duckumentary, we’re highlighting the achievements and hard work of our #BregenzerBrothers Construction Project Manager, Miriam Alan Walls!

When she’s not busy coordinating the projects for Bregenzer Brothers, Miriam is a regular volunteer with EDA Cares.

As our company has continued to grow, Miriam has helped welcome Bregenzer Brothers into our EDA Family and established the project management operations out of our Elizabeth, NJ office. Miriam’s success is the result of her years of dedication, perseverance, and commitment to pursuing the future she wanted in the United States.

Miriam is the embodiment of courage and competency. Miriam came to the United States alone from Peru to pursue a better life. She was a well-educated engineer in Peru and started at EDA as an Assistant Project Manager in 2010. She was required to overcome many obstacles to achieve her current success such as being a woman in a male dominated industry, being an immigrant who was still learning the language, and understanding the roofing industry. Miriam used her courage to ignore the understandable fears of asking questions to the male roofers and supervisors about roofing. As an engineer, she was able to quickly use this knowledge to elevate herself. Her resiliency to not let these barriers impede her desire for success, has led her to rise quickly at EDA and become a Project Manager managing projects worth millions of dollars.

Thank you Miriam!
