What do you do here at EDA?
As a project manager for BBCI, my week includes planning, executing, monitoring and controlling projects while keeping all parties involved up to date.
The BBCI team recently made the switch to the Bensalem office full time. We’re working on integrating the best parts of BBCI and updating our processes through EDA’s organizational model, which centers around cultivating trust, building stronger relationships with our customers, and providing exceptional service in our field.
What’s your favorite thing about working with your team or department?
Our team’s willingness to help each other can’t be understated. Every person here has taken countless hours out of their day to assist the team in keeping our projects trending in the right direction and successful.
Outside of work, do you have any favorite activities or hobbies?
I’ve been really into the gym this past year. I go with a buddy, and now I’m at the point where I feel off if I go longer than two days without it.
I also enjoy anything outdoors, but disc golf in the fall is my jam. In the winter, I work as a snowboard instructor on weekends at Jack Frost in the Poconos. We’ve got a good crew, and I really treasure the couple of months we get on the snow together.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given relating to your job or career?
“Be a sponge.” Listening and asking questions is vital to growth, and people are usually eager to share their knowledge.
What’s one thing you never leave home without?
HydroFlask water bottle. I couldn’t even guess the number of times I’ve run back in the house for that thing.
Cats or dogs? Why?
I grew up with dogs and feel like I understand them more. I can never get a good read on a cat.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Site visits. Go see the place where all your work is going. It’s where all your planning and paperwork get put to the test. Plus, the field guys are full of knowledge and always have a few gems to share.
If you were planning your favorite meal, what’s on the menu?
A classic Italian dish—probably a homemade plate of chicken parm with fresh pasta and a side of garlic bread. That’s a full comfort meal right there.
And an honorable mention for chicken and rice. Just good fundamentals—never lets me down.
How do you stay updated on industry trends and advancements, and are there any recent developments that have caught your attention?
LinkedIn and Reddit can be great resources for keeping up with the latest out there. Subreddits like r/constructionmanagement and r/roofing have some super helpful communities. You get real-world experiences, lessons learned, and a mix of new products that you won’t always find in a spec book.
And every now and then, a Facebook Reels rabbit hole where the guys go to a trade show to test the latest tools.
What’s your proudest accomplishment, either in your professional or personal life?
This might sound a little corny, but landing a gig at EDA was a big one for me.
I worked at my family’s restaurant, Bella Maria Tomato Pies in Bensalem, for eight years before this. EDA was always a great customer—I was usually the guy making the pizzas and delivering them to meetings. I remember walking into the new Bensalem office (probably with a stack of pizzas in my arms) and thinking, “This seems like a cool place to work.”
We ended up selling the restaurant a few years ago, and I remembered EDA—so I applied and, four interviews later, landed at BBCI.
These days, it can be a bit surreal to be sitting in the same rooms, now receiving lunch instead of delivering
