What did you do before your time at EDA?
Before my time as a carpenter entirely, I was a direct support professional taking care of the mentally challenged. Before coming on with EDA I worked for various other companies.

What brought you to the construction industry?
The thing that brought me to the construction industry was my family. My father, grandfather, and uncle were all master carpenters.

What are some things that most people don't know about you?
I'm a Math Tutor for the CAPP (Construction Apprentice Preparatory Program) … and I love swimming!

If you weren’t in the construction industry, where would you be today?
Honestly, I don't know where I would be. This industry has really molded me into who I am… and I love this, man! LOL.

If you could work in any other trade or department here at EDA, where would you be?
I would want to be in the fabrication shop. I would love to see how the panels are made.

What is the biggest challenge you've faced in work? How did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge for me was finding a home with a construction company. The first few years of my career were spent jumping from company to company. Not truly being able to make a name for myself. I believe I've found that home now with EDA.

What has been the best part about your experience working with EDA?
The best part about EDA is the people. The staff here REALLY feels like a family. I've NEVER experienced a workplace like this one.

What is your favorite EDA value, and why?
Smile, Laugh, and Enjoy Life. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm almost never upset. I believe peace begins with a smile.
