I did work on the line of business, overseeing roofing, waterproofing, and AVB projects. I’ve been dealing with commercial, industrial, and architectural roofing for over 24 years.
I have always been passionate about building. Having the opportunity to see a project start as an idea and becoming a real structure like a library and museums gives me a sense accomplishment and joy.
I run the day-to-day field operations on the Roofing/Waterproofing & AVB Division in the NJ/NY Metro area and control the short-term schedule. Quality control and coordination with other trades are included as part of my responsibilities as well. Cooperating, communicating, and sharing control of project development with Project Managers is satisfying and fun. Being stationary on the field for most of the time is rewarding.
One thing that most people don’t know about me is that I was a competitive swimmer (and still swim 20 laps every day), I raced in BMX competitions, and I was an ice-skating instructor.
If I wasn’t in the construction industry, I would be working on my second passion, which is law.
I am fortunate to say that I am happy and lucky to do what I do. Although CAD design is something that fascinates me.
The biggest challenge I’ve faced in work is becoming a better version of myself. It takes a lot of energy and reflection to be humble enough to learn from your mistakes. Reading is the best way to learn about yourself and how to improve. Diffusing challenges is part of process which I love.
The EDA culture is the best part about the experience of working at EDA. It was without a doubt the reason I ended up here. I am proud to say that EDA is by far the best company I have ever worked with.
My favorite value is Build Trust because reciprocity is a two-way street. It might sound selfish, however, there is nothing more gratifying than unexpectedly hearing that someone liked meeting or enjoyed working with you. EDA brings out the best of all of us.
