What did you do before your time at EDA?

I started my career at Williamson College of the Trades to learn more about masonry. After I graduated, my teacher from Williamson took me to the Union Hall and signed me up in the union. I then took a job with a union masonry company and worked with them for the next 18 years.

What was your reaction to seeing EDA’s emphasis on culture?

My first thought was that EDA is just different than other construction companies.

How is EDA's culture compared to that of your previous workplaces?

EDA seems to try and keep the field and the office connected.

What has been the best part about your experience working with EDA?

The transition into my new role was made easy. There is a good community here that is there to help you out when you need it.

What is your favorite EDA value, and why?

My favorite EDA Value is Strive to Improve. I feel that there is always something to learn, whether it is from someone else or something you did that can help you improve as a worker or as a person.
