What do you do here at EDA?
I manage our website, external email, paid advertising, SEO, marketing operations, and dabble in other areas as needed. We all wear a lot of hats in Marketing.

What’s your favorite thing about working with your team or department?
The openness to new ideas and change. It’s a collaborative and innovative team. The rapport helps as well—we all have some mutually shared interests and enjoy chatting about non-work topics during lunches and events.

Outside of work, do you have any favorite activities or hobbies?
Philly sporting events are a staple in my life, even when I lived elsewhere. I enjoy trying new restaurants and cocktail bars, and walking the city.

What’s the best piece of advice you have been given relating to your job or career?
It’s not who you know, but who knows you.

What’s one thing you never leave home without?
Headphones.

Cats or dogs? Why?
I had three dogs and one cat growing up, and my answer is cats. Their independence sets them apart, but they’re also more emotionally complex animals. Plus, they live longer—more years to enjoy their company.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Wandering around the city and seeing the work EDA has done or is working on. It brings immense pride to help us build Philadelphia and its surrounding townships.

If you were planning your favorite meal, what’s on the menu?
Salmon Caesar salad.

How do you stay updated on industry trends and advancements, and are there any recent developments that have caught your attention?
LinkedIn is a great resource for thought leadership content, including from our own fearless leader, Ed. Reading the publications I place ads in helps me as well—ENR is very insightful for someone coming from a tech-heavy background.

What's your proudest accomplishment, either in your professional or personal life?
Seeing my name in the Madden NFL 24 credits always gets me. Moving back to the Philadelphia metro for this role has brought me the most joy, though.
