I used to be a stockbroker. I had a Series 7 license and Series 63 license, sold stocks and made money… but I wasn’t happy with life.
After the big financial dip in 2008-2009, I wanted a change in my life. I wasn’t happy with what I was doing, so I decided to change my life around.
I’m a Carpenter: plumb, level, and square is what I do.
Some things that most people don’t know about me is that I have a B.A. in Finance, I ride motorcycles, and “I Want it That Way” by Backstreet Boys is my jam.
If I wasn’t in the construction industry, I’d probably be doing something that’s boring.
If I could work in any other trade or department here at EDA, I would try my hand in Safety. I feel like I’ve seen a bunch of things during my experience in the field that would help me see things in a different way if I was in the Safety Department.
The biggest challenge I’ve faced in work is weather, weather, and weather. Better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it: always have an extra sweater, shirt, hat, or whatever on hand.
The best part about my experience working with EDA is the culture. The fact that EDA brings everyone from the field, office, and fabrication shop together… in most companies out there, nobody knows each other, yet they are all supposed to work together.
My favorite EDA value is Strive to Improve. Minor improvements lead to great results.
